Obituary of Francis 'Duck' White
Entered into rest peacefully at his residence on Friday December 21, 2012. Francis Gerald White of Brockville age 86 years, beloved husband of Annie Beatrice (Harper) White. Dear father of Ronald White Sr. (Kym) of Maitland, Robert White (Carolyn) of Lyn, Richard White of Brockville and Betty White (Dean) of Pakenham. Loving grandfather of Ron White Jr. (Jessica), Bobbie-Dawn Summers (Hugh), Dustin White (Danielle), Jackie Dempsey (Glenn) and Jessie Dempsey (Ty) and 7 great grandchildren. Francis is survived by his sister Marguerite Whalen of Vineland, his mother-in-law Mary Harper of Brockville as well several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Iva (Marshall) White, and a sister Mildred Hagerman. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 7 -9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday December 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Francis, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Lyn Oddfellows I.O.O.F. will hold a Memorial Service Friday evening at 6:45 at the Funeral Home all sister lodges are invited to attend.
