Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Brockville General Hospital Garden St. Site, on Monday December 10, 2012. Georgios Garaganis aged 86, beloved husband of Eva Panelas. Loving father of Angela (Tom) Slade of Vancouver and Penny (Jeff) Hill of Toronto. Cherished Papou of Bill and Evan Slade, and Rob, Kevin and Jason Hill. Dear brother of Evangelos Trakas, Eleni Papathaki, Dimetra Mosuti and Maria Balanda, and brother-in-law of Phil Panelas and Fotini Pananos. Georgios will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral will be Celebrated at the Greek Orthodox Church, 206 Perth St., Brockville, on Saturday December 15, 2012, at 2 pm. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memory of Georgios, donations to the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Program would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
