Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday November 25, 2012. George Ernest Haffie of RR# 1 Lyn, age 98 years. Beloved husband of the late Louise (Trickey) Haffie, loving father of Bob Haffie of RR# 1 Lyn. George is survived by his sisters-in-law June Trickey of Mallorytown and Dorothy Foster of Brockville and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Maud (Chant) Haffie, his brother John Haffie and brothers-in-law Russell Trickey and Ken Foster. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
