Obituary of Ken Tylyer

In Loving Memory of Ken Tyler February 20, 1955 – December 28, 2014 Ken was born in Weston, Ontario in 1955 to his loving mother, Margaret Ann Tyler (nee Swan) and his father Brody Ernest Tyler who at the time was in Korea with the United States Army. Ken was a loving brother to his sisters Sandra, Laurie and Shannon. He was a much loved by his nieces and nephews Jeff, Darcey, Joel, Hailey, Barrett and Spencer. Without a doubt, the great love and pride of Ken’s life were his daughters Stephanie and Laura. Stephanie and Laura have given Ken a proud legacy, accomplished in education, music, writing, and now starting careers. Ken spoke often and proudly of his daughters, he appreciated their many gifts, their love and humour and seeing the wonderful people they have become. Stephanie and Laura’s mother Lynda has been a loyal friend who has been a constant source of love and support. Ken lived his life with pride and dignity; he was kind, gentle, intelligent and insightful, and had a great sense of humour. He loved to fish, play the guitar, and listen to music and of course he loved good food! Ken will be missed by all of the people that had the pleasure of knowing him.
