Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Friday July 13, 2012, Eleanor Irene (Chant) Christy of Brockville age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late James Christy, dear mother of Larry Christy (Donna) and Linda Gouskos all of Brockville, loving grandmother of Carrie Wood (Cory), Michael Christy (Jenn), Bob Gouskos (Priscella), Nick Gouskos, Christina Gouskos (Terry) and Alex Gouskos and great grandmother of Devon, Mason, Justin, Achilles, Toli and Aris. Mrs. Christy is survived by her brother-in-law Charlie Baker of Elgin and several nieces and nephews, predeceased by a son Bill Christy , her sister Irma Baker and her parents Hollis and Marjorie (Preston) Chant. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street, Brockville on Monday from 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday July 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
