BROOKS, James Howard Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site on Wednesday February 4th, 2015. James H. Brooks of North Augusta age 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Molly (Darling) Brooks and Theresa (McCann) Brooks. Loving father of Donald Brooks (Gloria Seeley) of North Augusta, Gordon Brooks (Dianne) of Manitouwadge, Sharon Prevost of Calgary, James Brooks (Sandra) of Manitouwadge, Greg Watt of North Augusta, Rosemary Lawson of Maitland and Carolin Kroot (Bill) of North Augusta. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Mildred Hall (Doug), Ross Brooks (Jean) and the late Jessie Alkerton (Ralph). Son of the late James and Laura (Capes) Brooks. Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday February 9th, 2015 at 11 am. Interment will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Garretton. In memory of James donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
