Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Monday April 16, 2012. Donald Ormand Jackson of Brockville age 78 years. Beloved husband of Mary (Cassidy) Jackson. Loving father of Diane Carey (Andrew) of Amherstview, Carole Jackson of Toronto and Anne Astleford (Ron) of Addison, cherished grandfather of Adam and John Astleford. Don is survived by his siblings Allan Jackson (Marion) of Almonte, Arnold Jackson (Eunice) of Smiths Falls, Betty Todd (Gary), Wayne Jackson (Donna) all of Brockville and his sister-in-law Betty Ann Farrell of Calgary as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ewart and Ivy (Chant) Jackson, a brother Ronald and a sister Reta Davis, a sister-in-law Helen Jackson and a brother-in-law Leo Farrell. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. the Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. John Bosco Catholic Church 175 Windsor Drive, Brockville on Thursday April 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
