Our family lost its brightest smile when Anna Christine Howard Jonathan left this world to join her mother Barbara, father Ted and youngest brother Tim Howard. True to form, our much loved mother, sister, friend and partner chose her favourite day- Friday the 13th to leave her illness behind. Chris was the glue for her family of four children Wesley, Dane, Stephanie and Nolan, and her friend/husband of 35+ years, Allan Russell (Chuck) Jonathan. Chris had a dedicated group of friends and was very close to her brothers Alec, Peter, Steven and her sister Darrell. All of us loved her deeply and can only imagine what new tricks she and her youngest brother will invent in a new world. A Service Celebrating Chris’ Life will be held at the St. Lawrence Anglican Church 80 Pine Street, Brockville on Thursday April 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Instead the family asks you to head down to the St. Lawrence River and read a prayer or poem to Chris. She’ll be Captain of the freighter gliding by in the background.
