Entered into rest suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday May 20, 2012. Donald James Cruickshank of Brockville aged 80 years. Son of the late Dr. And Mrs. John Cruickshank. Much loved husband of the former Lesley Joan Rowell. Dear father of Rev. Dr. Colin Cruickshank of Maine, Wendy Cruickshank (Daniel de Feydeau) of Switzerland, Sally Wilkerson (Bruce) of Perth, step-father of Paula Baxter (Colin Chevrier) of Ottawa, Jeffrey Baxter (Julie Rawson) of Saskatoon. Grandfather of Adrianna, Oliver and Benedict de faydeau, Rosemarie and Sabrina Wilkerson, Elizabeth Chevrier, Aurora and Callum Baxter. Brother Dr. Ian Cruickshank and family of England and a sister Sheila Norgate and family of Oakville as well as several nieces and nephews. Also survived by Ann O'Meara Cruickshank, mother of his children. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 26, 2012 at 1 p.m in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memoriams to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
