Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Sunday May 27th, 2012, Frances Beatrice (McCormack) Walby of Brockville formerly of Maitland age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late George Bruce Walby. Dear mother of John Walby (Brenda) of Totenham and Jim Walby of Maitland. Mrs. Walby is survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Stemp (James) and Nicholas Walby (Amy), her great grandchildren Caleb and Phaedra Stemp and John and Nora Walby, as well as her sister Jessie McCormack. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Beatrice (Nichols) McCormack, her brothers William and Harry McCormack and a sister Margaret. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Walby will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East on Thursday May 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. James Cemetery, Maitland at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
