Obituary of William Bayliss

Bill passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, Ontario. He retired as Captain of the Westmount Fire Department in January 1972. He was a long time resident ot The Wellesley in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Bill is predeceased by his parents Albert and Helen (Shaw) Bayliss, his first wife Freda (Campbell) Bayliss, his second wife Isabel (Shapter) Bayliss and his sister Lillian Smyth. He is survived by his sister Edith Cairns of Burlington, his son Stanley (Diane) of Brockville, his daughter Linda Kotsos of Georgetown, his step-daughter Carolyn (Bob) Cooke of Mississauga, his step-son Alan (Trish) Barlow of Ottawa. He is also survived by grandchildren Sandra Bayliss, Karen (Richard) Leroy, Patrick Bayliss, Michael (Angie) Kotsos, David (Kerry) Kotsos, Danny Barlow, Nancy (Wayne) Watrous, Steve (Jessica) Gilbert Jr. and several great grandchildren. A family Graveside ceremony was held onMonday February 16, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Rideau Memorial Gardens, 4239 Sources Blvd, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec. If desired, donations in his memory, made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville.
