Entered into rest with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Monday June 25, 2012, Douglas Hilton Brown of RR# 5 Brockville age 79 years. Beloved husband of Carole (Smith) Brown, dear father of Dave Brown of Brockville, Marilyn Lane (Jim) of Athens, Ray Brown (Heather) and Steve Brown (Tracy) all of Brockville, Ken Brown (Pam) of North Augusta, Cheryl Abbott of St. Thomas and Wayne Brown (Linda) of Brockville. Loving grandfather of Dave and Lisa Brown, Jesse and Danielle Sanderson, Jack, Michael and Pam LaSalle, Tyler and Cameron Brown, Amber Dawn and Sarah Brown, Katrina Brown, Dan and Matt Berry, Tony, Diana, Adam, Dougie and Josh Brown and great grandfather of Dallas and Paige, Drew, Sidney, Gabrielle, Jack Jr., Andrew and Alexandra. Predeceased by his parents Reuben and Mildred (Yateman) Brown, a brother Donald and a sister in infancy. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday July 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Brown Cemetery at a later date.
