Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Tuesday April 3, 2012. Gerald Wilfred Coon of Lyn, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Ruth (Shewan) Coon. Dear father of David Coon (Malena) of Vancouver, Edward Coon (Brenda) of Brockville, Donna Pyle (Bob) of Atlanta, Georgia, Patsy Coon of Cornwall and Todd Coon of Gatineau. Loving poppy of 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Gerry is survived by a brother Donald Coon (Sylvia) of Lyn, and a sister-in-law Margaret Coon of Brockville as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Bev (Purcell) Coon, brothers Eldon and Melville Coon. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday April 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lyn Cemetery.
