Entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Wednesday March 14, 2012. William George Munro of Brockville age 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (Thiabault) Munro. Loving father of Georgina Garland (Stephen) of Moncton NB and Bruce Munro of Toronto. Grandfather of Ruth Garland (Mike Watkins) of Brockville and Stephanie Garland of Moncton. Bill is survived by a brother Bob, sisters Margaret Cross and Rev. Mary Gordon and sister in law Jean Metcalfe (Don) as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, predeceased by brothers Ed, Burt and Ira. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In memoriams to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Sussex Masonic Lodge # 5 G.R.C. will hold a Memorial Service Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
