Peacefully with his family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday November 10, 2011. James Patrick Brennan of Brockville (formerly of Cardinal) age 70 years. Beloved husband of 50 years to Mary (Alcock) Brennan. Loving father of Jean Brennan (Peter) of Elizabethtown and Nancy Serson of Brockville. Survived by a cherished grandson and best friend Christopher Brennan. Also survived by grandchildren Danny Dolan, David (DJ) Dolan , Kevin Serson and Marissa Serson, sister Margaret Selleck (Wayne ) of Prescott and sister-in-law Norma Brennan of Smiths Falls as well as several nieces,nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased by his parents Sidney and Nancy (Hitsman) Brennan, sisters Jean Brennan, Shirley Van Bruggen and a brother Sidney (Ted) Brennan. A private family Graveside Interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Charity of your Choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
