Peacefully, with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Tuesday December 27, 2011. William Winston Gifford Sr. of Brockville, age 76 years. Beloved husband of Frances (Warren) Gifford and the late Noreen (Irish) Gifford. Loving dad of Laurie Gifford of Prescott, Gloria Worden (Andy), Teresa Cowan (Bill White) all of Brockville and Bill Gifford Jr. (Lisa) of Spencerville and loving step-dad of Bob McLarry (Mary) of Brockville, David McLarry of Perth and Kevin McLarry of Brockville. Cherished poppy of 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Ethel McGill (Ron) of Alberta and Marie Carswell of Brockville,several nieces and nephews and many brothers and sisters in law. Predeceased by his parents Noah Winston and Helen Marjorie (Howe) Gifford, a sister Shirley Thompson and her husband the late Lloyd Thompson and brother-in-law Cliff Carswell.
