Passed away peacefully, in the Palliative Care Unit of the Brockville General Hospital in Brockville, Ontario on Tuesday June 14, 2011 in her 75th. year. I heard the owl call my name. She will be sorely missed by Ed, her husband of 54 years and lovingly remembered by her daughters Laurie of Los Angeles, CA, Jody (Tetsuya) of Kyoto, Japan, Beckey (Ed) of Utrecht, Netherlands, her sons John (Wendy) of Peterborough, ON and David of Maple Falls, WA and her grandson Benjamin. She is survived by her sister Kathy (Don) of Deep River, CT. The family wishes to thank the medical staff of the Ottawa, Kingston and Brockville Hospitals, the Bayshore Home Health, the Brockville Hospital Palliative Care and Community Care Access Services for their excellent care during Gerry‘s illness. There will be no ceremony at the request of the deceased. For those who wish and in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Brockville General hospital.
