Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Wednesday, October 21st. 2008 Florence (Read) Chambers of Brockville, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late James Chambers. Dear mother of Christine Scott and her husband David of Westport, Paul Chambers and his wife Helen of Ottawa and Joan Coleman and her husband Ed of Brockville. Loving grandmother of Stephen (Michelle), Kevin (Melanie) Mark (Bobbi Jo), Timothy, Alison and Erika. Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, a sister Joyce Smith (Jack) of Blackburn, England and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William Read and his wife Elizabeth (Haslam) Read and a sister Bessie Wade. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Chambers will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
