Beloved wife of Elmer John Whitney of Brockville and formerly of Smiths Falls. Loving mother of John and his wife , Laurette of Smiths Falls and Rosemary Tye and her husband Robert of Brockville. Cherished Grandmother of Laurie (Jean) Maisonneuve of Frankville, Kelly Whitney of Smiths Falls, Jamie (Trisha) Tye of Brockville. Great grandmother of Camara and Keyara Maisonneuve, Brianna Whitney, Kayleigh and Mitchell Tye. Dear sister of Marguerite (the late Robert) Falla of New Hampshire, USA. Also survived by her sister-in-law Evelyn (the late Gordon) Doyle of Brockville and several cherished nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents David and Rose Wells, brothers Sonny, Albert (the late Bell) and Wilfred (the late Marion) and sister Anne (the late Thomas) Brady, grand daughter Shelly Whitney, sisters-in-law Frances (the late Charles) Snider and Margaret (the late Thomas) Goodfellow.
