Peacefully, with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital,Charles Street Site on Friday April 22, 2011. Melville Wayne Coon of Brockville age 79 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (Percival) Coon and the late Wava (Haws) Coon. Dear dad of Wayne Coon (Bonnie) of Brockville, Valerie Loomis (Chris) of Newfoundland and Richard Coon of Brockville. Loving papa of Michael Coon, Tim Coon, Emily Loomis, Tim Loomis, Dana Coon, Lisa Coon, Pat Hewitt and Nick Hewitt. Mel is survived by his brothers Gerry Coon (Ruth) and Donald Coon (Sylvia) all of Lyn as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wilf and Bev (Purcell) Coon, a brother Eldon and his wife Serena Coon. A Graveside Service for Mel will be held at Lyn Cemetery at a later date.
