Obituary of Kent Scott

It is with great sadness that Kent's family announces his untimely death on Saturday, November 29, 2008 from complications associated with Lung Cancer. Born in Brockville June 1950, Regina, Saskatchewan has been Kent's home for the past twenty-five years, shared with his loving wife Karen Layng. Dear son of Josephine Scott and the late Eric Scott, brother of Linda Gordon of St. Catharines and Lorraine Perkins (Glenn) of R.R.#4, Brockville. Brother-in-law of Margaret Dolan (Richard) and John Layng (Marnie), also survived by many nieces and nehews. Pre-deceased by a brother-in-law Taylor Gordon and a nephew Matthew Gordon. At his death Kent was co-owner of Cafe Orange and Kitchen Toys and Tools in the Cathedral Village, Regina. Interment for Kent will be held at the Oakland Cemetery Columbarium, Brockville on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. A gathering for family and friends will follow in the Reception Room at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville from 2-4 p.m. Contributions in Kent's honour and memory to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231-8th. Street, East, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7H 0S5, for research into Interstitial Lung Disease are welcome.
