Entered into rest peacefully at Providence Manor, Kingston on Sunday December 14, 2008. The former Vera Kathleen Fitzgerald of Brockville aged 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Earol Torrance. Dear sister of Grace Snowdon of Merrickville, Roy Fitzgerald (Charlesina) of North Augusta and Bill Fitzgerald (Ann) of Bath. Sister-in-law of Russell Torrance (Pearl) of Brockville, Theda Clark of Bells Corners and Mary Dixon (Robert) of Ottawa, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Winona (Roe) Fitzgerald. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday December 18, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Oxford Mills in the Spring.
