Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Tuesday November 23, 2010. Walter Bolton of Brockville formerly of Chatham aged 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Florence (Landon) Bolton. Dear father of William Bolton(Connie) of Brockville, Sheila - Marie Cadotte (Ron) of Chatham and David Bolton of Glencoe. Walter is survived by 4 granddaughters, a grandson and by numerous great grandchildren, he is also survived by a half sister Linda Collins of Brockville. Over the years Walter and Florence were foster parents of 186 children through the Children’s Aid Society. Predeceased by his parents John and Pearl (Patterson) Bolton, a sister Anne Riddell and a brother Eric Bolton. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon -1 p.m. The Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday November 27, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
