Suddenly, but peacefully at his residence, Lansdowne on Friday October 1, 2010. John Reiter of Lansdowne (formerly of Mystic, Quebec) age 77 years. Beloved husband of Virginia L. (Martin) Reiter. Dear dad of Todd Reiter (Joanne) of Swanton, Vermont, Christopher Reiter of Lansdowne and Steven Reiter (Lucie) of Candiac, Quebec. Loving grandfather of Dwayne, Vincent, Mitchell, Mathilde and Amelia. Also survived by a sister-in-law Claire Borkowski (Edmund) of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Mr. Reiter will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince St. Lansdowne on Tuesday October 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at a later date. In memoriams to the Lansdowne Agricultural Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
