Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Thursday June 10, 2010. John Gilbert Ostler of RR# 3 Mallorytown aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Carole (White) Ostler. Dear father of Brian Ostler (Linda) and Michael Ostler (Joanne) all of RR# 3 Mallorytown. Loving grandfather Stephanie, Michelle, Matthew and Erin Ostler. John is survived by his brother Donald Ostler (Elizabeth) of Brockville, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Margaret (Peggy) Ostler and his sister Elizabeth Williams. A Private Family Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville. Interment will take place at Mallorytown Cemetery. In memoriams to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care of the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
