Day, Gordon Wesley on December 13th, 2008 at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site, following a brief illness, with his wife by his side. Cherished husband, best friend and soul mate of Helen I. Kirton Day. Beloved father of Christopher Day (Amy) of Wooster, Ohio and loving step-father of John Feran (April Hook) of Toronto, Kevin Feran (Theresa) of Amhurstview, Wendy Feran of Brockville and Thomas Feran (Tara Ballentyne) of Toronto. Sadly missed by brothers Arnold (Solange) of Athens, Edwin of Charleston Lake and Fred (Susan) of Sweet's Corners, sisters Florence Young (Wayne) of Athens and Erna Finley (Leo) of Oxford Mills as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Hilda (Botting) Day and by sisters Margaret (Midge) Day and Christina Orr and step-grandson Brent Duncan (in infancy). Cherished Poppy of Ashley Day of Victoria, B.C. and Blaze Day of Wooster, Ohio. Very special lifelong Grandpa to 9 step-grandchildren and 1 great-step-grandson. At the request of the deceased cremation will take place immediately after death and no Funeral Services will be held. Interment to be held at a date to be determined. In memoriams to the Arthritis Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
