Entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, June 19, 2010 in her 93rd year. Left to cherish wonderful memories of a very special lady are her children Gwen Myers (Arden) of Oakville, Maxine McCready (Bruce) of RR #4 Lansdowne, Norene Kennedy of Toronto, Betty Giff of Perth, and Beverley Gibson of Kanata. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Margaret (Barry) Atkinson, her sister Marguerite McKibbon and her brother Harold Atkinson. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday June 24, 2010 at 11:00 am. Internment will follow at Wolford Cemetery.
