Passed away at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Sunday February 7, 2010 at age 89. Survived by his wife Joan (nee Gay) and his daughter Lorraine Ralph (Clifford) of Ottawa. Elmer will be fondly remembered by his granddaughter Jennifer Deighton (Michael) of Williamsburg ON, his uncle Clayton Armstrong of Ottawa, and brother-in-law Harold Gay of Ottawa. Also survived by a niece and nephew. Predeceased by his sister Gladys Pope. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Friday February 12, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Following the visitation at 3:30 p.m. family and friends will gather for a reception at the Funeral Home.
