Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Tuesday January 19, 2010 in his 74th year. Joe was a long time resident of the Niagara area and a resident of Brockville since 2002. Loving husband of Bonnie Marie (Anderson). Father of Mary Jo (Craig) Stirtzinger of Fenwick, Sharon (Paul) McLeod of Lakefield, Lisa (Ray) Kawaguchi of Carey North Carolina, and three sons, Michael (Kim) of Jacksonville Florida, Brian (Patty) of Miller Lake and Paul (Tamara) of Southlake, Texas. Stepfather of Kimberly Ann Anderson of Ottawa, Dwayne Anderson of St. Thomas and Christopher Anderson of Lambeth. Survived by one brother Alex (Penny) of Burlington. Also survived by many grandchildren and step grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Cecylia Furgal of Fenwick and former wife Wendy (MacDonald). Following a family burial service in Welland, Ontario, a further reception at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 1557 Pelham St., Fonthill Ontario will be hosted by the family on Saturday January 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. to celebrate Joe
