NEWMAN, Grace Adrianna (nee Grendel) Surrounded by love, Grace passed into the healing arms of the Lord on Sunday morning June 14th, 2015 at age 47. Beloved wife of Ed Newman. Loving mother of John (Belinda), Aleisha, Kyla and Katie Newman all of Athens. Cherished grandmother of Liam. Loved daughter of Feike and Susan (Smallegange) Grendel of Lyn. Dear sister of Martin Grendel (Kim Cormier) of Campbellford, Susanne (Richard) Shane of Lyn, Andrea (Dave) Eyre of Athens and Fred (Amy) Grendel of Kingston. Also loved by parents in law John and Marjorie Newman, and sisters in law Eleanor Newman (Peter Athersych), Jean (Robert) Ford, Carolyn (Jim) Purser, Myrna Newman, brother in law Andrew (Laurie) Newman and many nieces and nephews. Greatly missed by her extended family, friends and colleagues. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Athens Christian Reformed Church on Thursday June 18th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Elbe Cemetery. In memory of Grace donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
