Entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday November 24, 2015. Roy Boon of Lansdowne age 77 years. Beloved husband of Lois (Martin) Boon, dear father of Victor (Dawn), Raymond (Betty) and Golda Horton (Tim). Loving grandfather of April Davidson (Cory), Victoria Boon (Josh) and their mother Linda Boon, Matthew Boon, Jillian Blancher, Emily and Alyssa Horton and great grandfather of Morgan and Jonathen Davidson and their father David Davidson, Shayna and Zachery Boon. Roy is survived by a sister Betty Shillington (Morris), sisters in law Beverly and Linda Boon as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Sarah (Archer) Boon, his step father William Condon, a sister Sheila VanLuven and her husband Wilfred, brothers Ken and Dick Boon and his step brother Bill Condon and his wife Clara. Family and friends may call at Pine Grove Free Methodist Church 3592 Pine Grove Road Seeley's Bay on Monday November 30, 2015 from 11 am until the time of service at 1 p.m .Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
