On Monday, January 18th at the Smiths Falls Hospital, our heavenly Father called unto himself Dirkje Wiekamp(Franke) in her 87th year. Dirkje is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerard and by her children, Ron (Joanne), Ingrid (Sal) Polletta, Saskia (Chris) Ellens and Marlene. Oma will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Nicola and Alexis Wiekamp, Marisa, Samuel, Luke, Daniel Dante and Lia Polletta, Jonah, Olivia and Nicolette Ellens, Cullen Wiekamp and his mother Angela Wiekamp and many relatives in the Netherlands. She was predeceased by her son Paul and grandson Carsyn. Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be Celebrated at Bethel United Reformed Church, on Friday January 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
