My condolences go out to the Asman family. May God provide you the strength and the comfort that you need. Always keep in mind his promise of the resurrection (John 5:28,29) and his promise for a future where sickness, death and sadness will be a thing of the past (Rev 21:3,4. Isaiah 25:8)!

My heartfelt condolences to the Asman family at this very sad time.
Dodie came into my life at the fragile age of 18 and Montreal's RVH. She was such a fun filled, happy person who always lit up the room whether it was a late night chat, an encounter in the classroom or in the clinical setting. She became a good friend in a sea of new people. I am certain that the qualities that Dodie brought to RVH were the same qualities that many others saw through her life.
Know that the memory of Dodie lives on in many of us.

I had the pleasure of working with Dodie at Tennant House for many years. She shared her insight and wisdom freely and helped so many on their road to recovery. When she retired Dodie, Gail and I would have breakfast together monthly after Gail died Dodie and I continued the tradition, I will miss that time we shared and the amazing woman that I had the honor to know and love. I know Dodie was very excited to visit with her family out west in the next few months she shared the beautiful album photo album she got for Christmas, she was very proud of all of you. My sincere condolences on the loss of such a special lady.

I remember Dodie like it was yesterday when we started nursing school at RVH in Montreal. Dodie was part of my group of friends. I remember a joyful soul with a sense of fun and relationship oriented. She had a generous spirit and a playful manner. I am sure sure she was a great mom, friend and grandparent. My condolences to her family who I'm sure will miss her dearly. I was looking forward to seeing her at our 50 yr reunion from starting nursing together.

I can only imagine your devastation for the loss of Dodie, a mother, grandmother and so much more.
I remember Dodie well from our probie time. Her photos show she had changed little and aged beautifully. A truly lovely lady in every way.
I am feeling sad and more than shocked to say the least. I had not seen her since probie and was looking forward to seeing her once again.
Very much in my thoughts.
Much love. Cynthia/Cyndy

My memory of Dodie is of her cheerful, bubbly presence and her laughter. I remember her as a really nice person. I never saw her again after she left training except I did go to her wedding! I'm sure she touched many hearts during her lifetime. I wish her family well.

The first time I saw this picture of Dodie on the internet I just thought how beautiful. A camera never lies, and this one caught her at her best, and I will cherish it and the memories I was lucky to acquire with Dodie while growing up. There are no words to express sorry, only to say , she will be greatly missed, and in my heart forever.

Dodie was a beloved member of our nursing school until her marriage to Dick. We were thrilled to reconnect with her a year or so ago. Also we were looking forward to the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the entry into the school of nursing this September. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to describe this turn of events. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
With much love,
