Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Saturday April 23, 2016. Albert Greer a resident of St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, formerly of Toronto aged 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Norah (Bredin) Greer. Dear father of Paul Greer (Tess) and father in law of Paula Simmons. Loving grandfather of Corbin and Nicholas Greer, Tony simmons and Jennifer Blattman, he is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Albert is survived by a brother Robert Greer (Corrine), sister's June Morrow and Marilyn Bowman (Ron) as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Lillian (Moss) Greer, sons Richard and David Simmons, brothers Norman and Harold Greer and sister's Kathleen Coke and Ethel Randall. A graveside service and reception will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough on Wednesday May 4, 2016 from 1 - 3 p.m. In memory of Albert, donations to the SPCA or the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
