We wanted to express our deepest sympathy to Barb and the family on the passing of Jim. We got to know him quite well once a month as he delivered our coffee. We often engaged each other in lengthy discussions. He certainly had a full and interesting life - a man of many passions. We will miss him very much.

Dear Barb,
Sorry to hear the news about Jim. He will be missed. Jim was a very good man, someone who worked hard to better humanity. He always challenged us to act on our spiritual beliefs, not just talk about it and I often think about his perspectives on what faith means.
I know the world has been a better place because of Jim.
take care, and I will say a prayer for you and your family.

It is so sad to lose one of the finest letter writers in our area, a gentleman with a conscience.
Whenever Jim wrote to the local paper, I enjoyed what he had to say. Every community needs voices like his.
He will be sadly missed.

I was a.member of St. Paul's church in Cardinal. My maiden name was Alguire. I always liked Rev. Riesberry. He cared about the youth in Cardinal and tried to organize events for us. I asked him to come back and officiate at my wedding after he left Cardinal. He did so and Mrs. Riesberry played the Wedding March etc. That was 30 years ago. My husband and I extend our sympathy to the entire family. May he rest in peace. God Bless!
