On December 10, 2008, peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, aged 61, after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Molly and Milton, survived by his loving wife, Patricia Zimmer, his devoted sons Christopher (Tracey) of Ottawa and Jay (Grandchildren Mac and Ava) of Nelson, B.C., brothers Paul of Barrie and Doug of Ottawa. Fondly remembered by former wife Betty Jean Ernst, uncles Bernard McConnville (Marie) and Brian MacAskill, Godson Blake (Tracey) and daughter Sloane, Wayne and Aileen Moyle, Patrick and Linda Moyle and Mary Lou and Emmett O'Donnell. Bryan lived larger than life at all times. He was an enthusiastic planner, loved to laugh, entertain and meet new people, and will be missed by friends across North America. Bryan loved to be on water, most recently St. Lawrence River at Brockville, On, Georgian Bay at Pointe au Baril and the Gulf of Mexico at Rotonda West, FL. There will be a private family service followed by an open memorial celebration in the spring. Wonderful treatment and care was given to Bryan by the staff of Brockville General Hospital.
