Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site with his family by his side on Sunday October 12, 2008. Herbert Emery Massey of Lyn aged 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine May (Johnston) Massey. Dear father of Caroline Rice (Winston) of RR# 2 Brockville, Linda Eagle of RR# 3 Brockville, Wilma Boyd of RR# 4 Mallorytown, Alvin Massey (Amanda), Roger Massey (Angie) and Christopher Massey all of Lyn. Survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William Henry Massey and his wife Eva Hanna (Vancoughnette) Massey and 12 brothers and 5 sisters. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockivlle on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday October 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lyn Cemetery. In memoriams to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
