Entered into rest at Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Monday August 8, 2016, Douglas Bruce Ker of Brockville age 87 years, beloved husband of the late Leona (Kelly) Ker, dear father of Judy Ker, Tom Ker (Nancy), Kelly McDougall, Nancy Ker and Steve Ker (Leslie). Loving grandfather of Danielle St. John (Tyler), Jaime and Allie McDougall, Sarah and Amanda Ker and great grandfather of Marshall and Isabella St. John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his parents John W. and Myrtle Eva (Dewar) Ker and his brother Hugh. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Brockville Country Club, Granite Room on Thursday August 11, 2016 from 4 – 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Bruce, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
