Peacefully at the Rosedale Retirement Home, Brockville on Friday August 22, 2008. Ivy Muriel Teal Shire of Brockville age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Cecil George Shire. Dear mother of Alan Shire and his wife Dores of Brockville, Diane Thorne and her husband Kent of Hammonds Plains, NS, and Susanne Larocque of Brockville. Loving grandmother of six granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Sybil Neckles of Florida and a sister-in-law Joyce Teal of England. Predeceased by her parents George Arthur Teal and his wife Evelyn Atkins Teal, brothers Frank, Dennis,a twin sister Lily all of England and a son-in-law Paul Larocque.
