So very sorry for the lost of your dear loved one. Hold on to this promise by God at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces".

Mary Alice Family & Friends. It’s sad to lose someone in death. What helped me the most was prayers and faith in God’s promise at Psalm 34:18 “God is close to the broken heart: he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” For more comforting scripture, please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. God’s Kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for will bring about these wonderful promise. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

To Viola and family, Mary Alice and family,
Goodbye Roy, my how time flies ….. I’m sorry to hear that you missed roll call at Tait’s last week …..
More than a quarter century has passed since our paths crossed. Our lives were always entwined through our inclusion in the Roddick clan of Leeds Grenville; we’ve shared so many treasured family times. Kindred moments celebrating many forms of holiday and special times; Easter egg hunts, hayrides/sleigh rides, skating parties, weddings, homecomings, births, family moments of all forms.
You‘ve witnessed my children turn into men, watched them begin their own families and seen their children grow. You even travelled to NYC and visited and barhopped with them on Broadway.
I’m going to miss;
opening the backdoor to an assault of Red Wing paraphernalia,( and I thought I was a fan), the blue green plaid topped with the flaming red suspenders at gatherings, the belief that roots are the only edible form of vegetable matter, your sweet tooth legendary.
So happy to have known you. Happy your light shone bright for so long and the flicker was brief, you deserved that.
Peace be with you always,
Brian Martinak

I remember meeting Roy and Viola when we were neighbours on Byng Ave. Though I moved from there nearly 20 years ago, Roy always remembered me when we met around town and would greet me with a smile and a loud 'How are you?!'. My deepest sympathies are with you all.
