Entered into rest with family by her side at the Carveth Care Centre on Sunday July 30, 2017, Dorothy Grace (Burns) Funnell of Lansdowne age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late James Funnell, dear mother of Kathy Wyborn (Larry) of Lansdowne and Gary Funnell (Sherry) of Smiths Falls. Cherished grandmother of Maddison Funnell, Lisa Chitty (Phil) and Aimee Easton (Ryan) , and loving great mother of Cohen and Claire Chitty and Scotty and Ruby Easton. Dorothy is survived by brothers Lloyd and Keith Burns and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Milton and Helen (Moore) Burns, her sisters Bessie Burns, Joy Reed, and brothers Robert and Paul Burns. A Private Family service will be held at Union Cemetery, Lansdowne. In memory of Dorothy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
