It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Baker of Brockville on Sunday August 27, 2017. Sue passed away peacefully at the Garden Street Palliative Care Unit surrounded and supported by her loving family. She faced her last days with a sense of humour, courage and dignity. Soulmate and best friend of 48 years to her beloved husband, Norman Baker. Devoted mother to N. Scott Baker (Darci) of Brockville, Shauna Quigley (Glen) of Oshawa, R. Jamie Baker (Melanie) of Prince George, B.C. and treasured 'Nana' to her eight grandchildren. Sue was cherished by her siblings, Carol Keating, Ron Chapleau and Barbara Rich. She was the glue that held her family together. Will be sadly missed by family and friends whose lives she touched. Sue will be fondly remembered as the owner of the Heritage Tea Room and Gift Shop, as well as Susanjane's on King. Everyone was treated to a warm welcome and cheery service when they stepped inside her shop. A private family service was held and a Celebration of Life will take place next summer.
