Obituary of Edward Casselman
Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Ottawa, after attending a hockey game. Doing what he loved to do in the company of his nephews Wayne Hamelin and Derek Schaaf. He was a devoted and loving husband for 48 years to Louise Anna Kilmury. He was a proud, loving and supportive father to Jack (Charlene) and Teresa (Kim) White. A kind, fun-loving Grandpa to Ryan, Ashley, Benjamin, Nicholas and Jennifer. He was predeceased by his loving parents George and Agnes Casselman and his brother Robert Casselman. Also his brothers-in-law John Karasiuk and Jack McCune. He is survived by his much loved sisters Jean (Bill) Hamelin, Dorothy Karasiuk, Geraldine (Bill) Nugent, Viola McCune, Pearl Schaaf and sister-in-law Marilyn Casselman, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ed was a friendly, loving man who loved being with people. He greeted everyone with a warm, beautiful smile and said hello to everyone he met. In honour of Ed, share a toonie with a child, a smile to a stranger and love everyday you live, with all your heart. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Monday September 29, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memoriams to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Children's Make a Wish Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family
