Obituary of Jean York

Entered into rest at Carleton Lodge, Ottawa on Friday December 15, 2017.  Jean York  (nee Baker) of Brockville aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Archie C. York who predeceased her in 1982.  Loving mother of Marian Turnham (Karl) of Nepean and Marilyn Smith (late Ken) of Manotick.  Cherished Grandmother of Melissa Smith of Kanata and Kevin Smith (Tricia) of Erin. Great-Grandmother of Allie, Matthew and Mason.  Jean was predeceased by her parents Harold and Hattie (nee Carruthers) Baker.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Friday December 29, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Winchester.  In memory of Jean, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or Christ United Church, Lyn  would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
