Obituary of John Wesley Byrnes

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Monday January 15, 2018. John Wesley Byrnes of Brockville aged 64 years.  Beloved husband of the late Fay Byrnes (nee Gardiner), dear father of Brian (Lisa) and Jason (Janelle). Proud Grandpa of Blake, Breanna and Wynston. John is survived by his siblings Bob (Johanne), Marie Garvin (Glynn), Gary Byrnes (Geri), Irene Hewitt (Brent), Sharon , Francis Byrnes (John) and George Byrnes (Tammy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Laura (Kinch) Byrnes, as well as a sister and brother in-law Marilyn and Bernard Townsend.    

Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Celebration of John’s  Life will be held in the Chapel on Friday January 19, 2018 at 1:00pm. Interment will be at a later date. In memory of John, donations to the Canadian Cancer society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
