Obituary of Georgina Blancher

Peacefully entered into rest at the Carveth Care Centre in Gananoque on Thursday March 15th, 2018. Georgina (Genge) Blancher formerly of Mallorytown aged 91 years.  Beloved wife of the late Hilton Blancher. Loving mother of Christine Nash (Chris) of Lansdowne, Stuart Blancher (Jane) of Mallorytown, Brenda D’Angeli (the late Lou) of Lansdowne and Beverley Andress (Bud) of Hill Island. Cherished grandmother of Robert Nash (Terri), Josh Blancher (Karen) and the late Ronnie Nash; and great grandmother of Dylan, Bradley and Kaitlyn Nash and Georgina “Ginny” and Sebastian Blancher. Sister of Eileen Brown (the late Howard) and Barbara Leith (the late Calvin). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dear daughter of the late Nelson and Thelma (Waller) Genge.  

Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne on Wednesday April 4th, 2018 from noon to 1:45 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service which will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Union Cemetery. In memory of Georgina, donations to the Mallorytown United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
