After a long courageous battle with cancer, entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Tuesday September 1, 2009, with wife Mary of 60 years by his side. Clifford Vernon Wing of Brockville in his 83rd. year. Beloved husband of Mary (Beckstead) Wing. Dear father of the late Paul Wing. Loving brother of Grace Fox. Loving brother-in-law of Lucy Wing, Marion Frelich, Paul Beckstead (June), Carol Gerritsen (John) and Eva Beckstead. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Clifford enjoyed his many friends, neighbours and acquaintances whom he worked with and lived beside over the years. Predeceased by his parents William Wing and his wife Mabel (Conklin) Wing, brothers Clarence, Arnold, Harold, Fred, Elmer and 2 sisters Mildred Brown and Elsie Throop. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday September 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
