Obituary of Florence Ethel Gardner RN
Suddenly at her home in Brockville on Saturday, October 11th. 2008. Florence was born in Lochwinnoch, Ontario and was the beloved wife of the late Alexander John Gardner, MD. and Veteran of WWI and II. She leaves her dear sister Pearl Blackmore of Arnprior, Ontario, her loving children William (Jean), Elisabeth (Ron) and Jim (Donna) and her devoted grandchildren James (Melissa), Colin, Mark and Julie Gardner. Florence was loved and will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and her friends and neighbours. Florence was predeceased by a sister Margaret Mulligan-Jeffcott and a brother Wilson Normand. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Friday October 17th. 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 18th. 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or Royal Canadian Legion, Brockville, Branch 96, would be appreciated by the family.
