I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Although it tended to be years between, I always looked forward to running into Paul whenever we visit the area. Always with a quiet but witty line, and a clever comeback; he was one of a kind, and made me feel welcome when I first moved to Brockville and worked at the Clubhouse. Sending our best wishes ans deepest condolences to Paul's family and friends. He was one of the good ones, and i was glad to know him.

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Paul’s family. For right now, there’s no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, “... power beyond what is normal “, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, “...all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out “. Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. The Bible describes our Creator as, “... the God of all comfort “. One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow. I met Paul only a handful of times over the years at model car meetings and contests in Kingston. He was always so pleasant to be around. One of those guys you wished lived closer so you could get to know him better. My condolences go out to family and friends alike. I hope time heals your pain and your loss.

This is hard to write ......as I sit and think of all the good times we had over the years and the friendly competition we shared at the model shows we attended together I know in my hart that I will never be the same. This hobby we shared is a little different to me now but in a good way! I will never forget you as every time I sit at my work bench I will think of you. Godspeed Paul I will miss you. Rob

I have known Paul for 30 years since we worked together at Bunsmaster Bakery on Ormond St. His good sense of humour led us to become fast friends, which we have remained since. Always enjoyed running into Paul on the street where we would catch up on things and have a few laughs. Very shocked and saddened to hear about his passing.

My condolences to Paul's family and friends.
I knew Paul from Kingston Scale Auto, our model car club, where Paul was a longtime member and friend. Paul was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic hobbyist, and he will be missed terribly by our members, and by the hobby community at large.
As a person, Paul was always kind, honest and considerate, and we were fortunate indeed to have known him all these many years.
Rest in Peace Paul

To the Millier Family:
My sincere condolences in the passing of Paul, and I am very sorry for your loss. I have happy memories of Paul through the Wall St. United Church Kairos Youth Group during the 1970s. We spent many happy times there at the church, many fun activities and interesting discussions. We also spent many times afterwards at McDonalds or driving around downtown in the summer nights. I also have fond memories of Paul during the several camp retreats and canoe trips we did at Bon Echo Provincial Park and Algonquin Park which were organized by Rev. Clifford, Mary Hunter and some of the other parents. Unfortuneately our paths diverged after University, so I hadn’t been in touch with him for some time - but just wanted to let you know what a great guy he was, and that he will be missed.

James and Jerry:
It is with profound sadness that I read of Paul's passing. I had many conversations with him regarding his car models. Also, many a visit to the Hobby House to check and see what new models I had in stock. Always a time for a break and a coffee and a quiet friendly visit.
When I moved to Hillsdale, ON I thought of Paul often and did indeed miss the Saturday coffee chat. A quiet gentle soul , unpretentious and caring.
My sympathies to both of you for he was a "gentle giant" as I shall always remember him.
Regards and Blessings,
Deb
