Obituary of Dora May Shields
Passed away peacefully at the Fox Run Retirement Home, Gananoque on Thursday August 2, 2018 at the age of 94. Dora May Shields (nee Johnston) beloved wife of the late Willis Shields. Much loved mother of John (Lynne), Glen (Sue), Wayne (Jo-Anne) and Paul (Barb). Cherished grandmother of Holly (Leyden), Kevin (Christina), Scott (Jordana) Tom, Cindy (Sean), Tracey (Terry), Nathan and Jordan. Great-grandmother of Vaiden, Merik, Morgan, Caleb, Dylan, Keaden, Summer, Jackson, Hayden and Lexi. Predeceased by three brothers Arnold, Bruce and Harold and a granddaughter Julie.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. the Funeral Service will be held in the Lansdowne United Church on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. In memory of Dora, donations to the Lansdowne United Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
